WHAT WE DO
Homeboy’s purpose-driven work has repeatedly been recognized for its efficacy and positive impact on society. This fund allows us to continue the work we are already doing and to amplify the Homeboy model into new sectors.
Currently, there are not enough employers enthusiastic about hiring returning-citizens, thus the Homeboy team is creating new growth opportunities to be the change we want to see. To that end, we leverage philanthropic and catalytic capital to support social enterprises in four ways:

new businesses that fill gaps in the market and meet customer needs.

small-to-medium businesses with a stable track record of revenue.
