GLOBAL HOMEBOY NETWORK GATHERING JULY 27-29

Registration for the 2025 Global Homeboy Network is now open.

Launched in 2014, the Global Homeboy Network (GHN) consists of over 600 like-minded organizations from around the world. At its core, GHN works to widen the circle of compassion, tenderness, and kinship. The mission of GHN is to work with organizations across the globe to create therapeutic communities offering workforce development training, cost-free supportive programs and services, and social enterprise employment to marginalized people. We do this by assisting other organizations as they work to launch and grow spaces within their communities that provide people with the tools they need to change their lives. Also, by fostering community, sanctuary, and family, to provide welcoming, safe spaces to those on the margins. These core values are what energize GHN’s growth to charts our future direction.

Past Annual Gatherings have included people from communities across the United States and the globe who have long hoped to bring pieces of the Homeboy model to their work and organizations. This “conference” has included technical assistance sessions, best practices, storytelling, workshops, panel discussions, and activities that help share the knowledge and tools found within the Homeboy Industries’ model and those of many of our GHN partner organizations.

At our 2024 Gathering, we welcomed 280 participants from across 27 states and 6 countries. Our intention for these sessions is to share approach, philosophy and processes in more meaningful ways. Many of the discussions and experiences at the Gathering are led by our Homeboy Industries’ subject matter experts in tandem with trainees who are currently enrolled in our 18-month reentry program. Other experiences and sessions are led by our Global Homeboy Network partner organizations.
